The cab is pretty much only narrower AT ALL because there’s a 3 1/2" or so shelf edge on top of the door. Which blends into the tail fins.

In fact, one of the reasons the one I’ve got is not a total wreck inside despite smashed windows is that the roof contour pretty nearly overlaps the whole almost straight-up-and-down window.

I think the floors would have been better, but it probably still would have needed rockers. I dunno, y’work with what you have. The sun is responsible for the disintegrating damask on the seats, but I think I have that handled too. I know people with industrial sewing machines and I have a source...

Aww yeah

Also every time I see that Lincoln, I wonder how the hell it was ever built. Somebody had to look at it, and say... “yeah, that’s perfect, it’ll sell.” Or more likely, “well, fuck it, we’ve spent the money.” Ridiculous in the best possible way.

Always good to have a source and I think you right the interior would have been bad but the wholes certainly did the car no favors.

I think it’s worth note that all three of my oldtimers have approximately fuck all tumblehome between them, although the Ranchero disguises the lack by suffering from Ford Hugewaistitis.
